Speak with Calmfidence®

Whether it’s an important phone interview, dealing with a customer service issue, or simply ordering a pizza, make sure to speak with Calmfidence®.

To sound more self-assured, cool, calm and confident over the phone be sure to PDPD!
  • Project: Volume up! Speak from your diaphragm (from your belly!). Soft speak falls flat when you have only your voice to communicate with.
  • Direct: Be direct. Know what you want to say and how you want to say it before you even pick up the phone. Be sure to be clear and concise. If you need, jot down some key points to help you stay on track.
  • Pleasant: Balance your volume and directness with a pleasant genuine bright tone.  People can tell when you’re ‘smiling’ over the phone!
  • Definite: Be definite in how you are handing the communication. Know what you want the outcome to be.  Speak with a definite purpose.
Continue to practice PDPD every time you’re on the phone (which isn’t as often as it used to be.)  Just like any muscle, the more you use it – the stronger it gets.  Exercise your Calmfidence® muscle as often as possible and it’ll continue to improve!
